This is a very pleasant unit. As advertised, it is a studio with a Murphy bed. The views are very nice--probably some of the best in the canyon, which is somewhat limited by the opposite side of the mountain 500 yards across. The decor and hardware seem to be vintage 70s, the decor rustic wood. The fireplace is very pleasant. The layout is quite convenient for the small space. The concierges were very helpful. The free van to the alta ski area was very easy to catch and I never had to wait long for it. I did not try to find the way to ski in from alta--some did it said the tracks. For five stars I'll wait till the entire building (and the unit) are renovated with granite counters.

We stayed in 4D. Perfect for a couple. The unit was very clean and modern. Fireplace was a pleasure each evening after skiing. The kitchen is fully stocked. We never waited more than 7 minutes for the shuttle which took no more than. 5 minutes to reach the Wildcat base. Beats all other locations in the Canyon (at the time of our booking) in terms of price. Staff was very helpful and nice. Did not ski Snowbird but could ski in and out. For Alta it was a five minute ride to the lifts and a very fun ski run back to the condo. I would go back to Blackjack in a heartbeat.

You won't be disappointed with your stay at Alta if you book a room at Black Jack. My fiance and I had a super time and will certainly be back for more fun in the snow!
