DirectionsFrom the Salt Lake City International Airport Follow signs to AIRPORT EXIT and merge onto I-80 E toward Ogden and Provo. Merge onto I-215 S via EXIT 117 toward Provo in approximately 1.6 miles Follow I-215 for 16 miles to EXIT-6 toward SKI AREAS SOLITUDE/BRIGHTON/SNOWBIRD/ALTA Take ramp toward SKI AREAS (HINT....stay in the middle lane NOT the right lane) Take a RIGHT at the bottom of the ramp onto 6200S Follow this road to Alta and Snowbird! It is approximately 12 miles to Snowbird and 14 to Alta. The road will change names a couple of times - just continue to follow signs. ***IMPORTANT***DO NOT TAKE THE LEFT TURN TO BRIGHTON AND SOLITUDE, THIS WILL BRING YOU TO THE WRONG CANYON! Continue past Snowird, after you pass entry # 4 at Snowbird you will see a railroad crossing gate, continue up the road past the Hellgate Condominiums until you see a second railroad crossing gate. ***After you pass the second set, you will see the Alternate Road on the right, take this right. Please note if you go past the Alta Peruvian Lodge you have missed the Alternate Road. Follow the Alternate Rd. past the Powder Ridge Condominiums (on your left) until you see the sign for Blackjack Lodge, The View and Village at Sugarplum (on your left). Turn left at the sign and follow the drive up bearing left past the Village at Sugarplum. You will see the Blackjack Lodge on the left – we are the 3 story cedar-sided building. ***If the main road is closed you will be diverted onto the Alternate Rd. at Entry #4 for Snowbird. You want to take a right at the 2nd driveway past Snowbird – approximately .25 miles. You will not be able to see the sign from the road – this is a sharp right hand turn. |
